Wusinich, Sweeney & Ryan, LLC is a boutique litigation firm that represents employees affected by employer misconduct. Our two partners, Ed Sweeney and Franny Ryan, have a unique synergy in representation. Ed and Franny are married and work together as a team on many matters. Both are experienced trial employment lawyers who are graduates of top law schools and are also former judicial clerks. Ed has been doing plaintiffs’ work for decades. Franny was a partner and practiced management side/defense work for large corporations at a major international law firm in Philadelphia.
We have seen it all from both sides. We match our credentials with any firm. Our philosophy places a premium on the willingness to try cases. Our years of combined experience afford us the ability to provide legal advice to employees with ongoing workplace issues. We offer counsel on severance issues, non-compete covenants, executive and salesperson employment contracts, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) issues regarding returning to work or accommodation problems.
Both of our partners also have a unique individual focus. In addition to representing individuals in discrimination cases, partner Franny Ryan prosecutes class actions and other instances in which more than one employee has been mistreated. Partner Ed Sweeney fights for clients locally in employment law matters. Ed has represented a number of police officers and school teachers and administrators who have been treated badly by their employers. Both Franny and Ed have represented high-level executives in contract disputes.

We are Proud to Have Represented Hundreds of Local Clients.
We are proud to continue the legacy of our esteemed founding, now retired, attorney, Joe Wusinich, and our predecessor firms for vigorous, compassionate, and capable legal representation. We represent clients in our local communities, including but not limited to those residing in Downingtown, West Chester, Exton, Coatesville, Phoenixville, Malvern, Lyndell, Wagontown, Uwchlan Township, Parkesburg, Chester Springs, Lancaster County, Reading, and Morgantown, Pennsylvania. At least 20 percent of our clients have not been local and have come to us from other parts of Pennsylvania to seek our brand of representation.
We have built a reputation for serving our clients with honor and integrity. We are gratified by the fact that many of our clients are sent from other attorneys who do not practice in our fields, or past clients who refer a family member or friend. We invite you to learn more about what we offer.
